Delta regions belong to one of the most productive environments in the world.
These areas have a great biodiversity that makes for a good ecosystem. In a good ecosystem,
food can be grown. In addition, it can provide economic values,
which is important for the human population.
This makes these areas a good opportunity for the development of cities (Zagare, 2018).
The rapid urbanisation of these deltas can cause the surrounding agricultural lands to fall into ruin.
Many large cities are located along delta rivers because of their strategic location and the ecological
richness of the area. This gives the area faster access to the global economy and makes the land fertile
for agriculture (Zagare, 2018).
As a large part of the world's population moves to large cities, these are becoming more and more elaborate,
causing loss of land in the areas including the land used for agriculture.
We do our work in two deltas
The map shows the locations of the delta.
Both deltas are located on different continents.
The nile is in Egypt, North Africa.
And the Parana is in Argentina, South America.
